Who is Manuela?
Movement has always been a part of my life. As a child, I loved being active - from tennis to hockey, from football to dancing. At eighteen, I discovered the gym, where I mostly clung to group classes or cardio machines. The idea of stepping into the “intimidating” weight room filled with muscular people felt simply too overwhelming.
But at twenty-four, I started CrossFit - and everything changed. The technique, the challenge, the sense of competing with myself - it all ignited my love for strength training. I pushed myself further and further, discovered new limits, and felt my body grow stronger each time.
A focus on women
While training in gyms and during personal training sessions, I started to notice something: there was a strong focus on harder, faster, heavier - often without real attention to technique or how someone was actually feeling. As a woman, I often felt unseen, both in group classes and in one-on-one training. My body, my weak spots, and my specific pain complaints weren’t truly taken into account.
This made me curious. I started diving into female anatomy, hormones, and how pain patterns develop. My enthusiasm grew, and I immediately began applying everything to myself. After a year, I decided to start my education as a personal trainer. It felt like pure passion - and after my first internship, I knew for sure: this is my path.
The magical feeling of truly helping someone, of helping her reconnect with her body and regain her energy, is what drives me every day. This journey has only just begun, and I can’t wait to guide even more women on their path toward strength and self-care.
